What do you want people to know about your graduation project?
I always wanted to make a short film that combines my passion for the use of colour and composition.
During my studies at ECA, I have always tried to incorporate my illustration style into my animation work and I believe I achieved it with "One Way".
What or who is your inspiration and why is following this route important to you?
One of my favourite directors and an inspiration in my work is Wes Anderson. I love his use of colours and how he composes his shots in his films. I believe he has influenced my work over the years.
What has been your favourite thing about ECA and Edinburgh?
I love the freedom ECA has given me. Also, ECA has a very large community of people willing to support you during your studies.
What are your hopes for life after ECA? Do you have any plans?
I would like to start my professional career straight away. I am already working as a freelancer but I would like to start in a studio so I can learn from people around me and be in a creative environment.
Is there anything you’d like to share about your experience studying here, perhaps relating to the things you’ve learned?
I leave ECA as a stronger artist. I can proudly say I have developed my animation skills and grown up as a creative mind.
