Policy for students exhibiting work on the website
The information you have provided will be used by the University of Edinburgh to promote your work and the Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) Degree Show on the Degree Show website (www.degreeshow.eca.ed.ac.uk). It may be made publically available on the ECA website, the University website, and University and ECA social media accounts. And it may also be used by ECA and the University for Press, PR and publicity purposes. To fulfil these processes, it will also be held offline by ECA and the University for five calendar years.
We are using information about you because it is part of the University of Edinburgh’s legitimate interest to:
- share student work in promoting the annual Degree Show as part of our calendar of events
- encourage our graduating students in making further connections with businesses and potential collaborators or buyers of their work
- maintain an archive of previous shows for the recruitment of new students
We will hold the personal data you provide us for the Degree Show website for five calendar years - three years of which it will be held on the Degree Show website - before being removed. You can opt out and request the removal of this data at any time.
